The Lear 31 is a high-speed, twin-engine light jet, arguably considered the ultimate realization of the original Learjet series dating back to the Model 23. It is capable of climbing at over 5,400 ft/min up to 51,000ft, a distinction shared by only a handful of civil aircraft. The aircraft has a maximum range of over 1,600 nautical miles and can carry 8 passengers in comfort to destinations all across North America.

The King Air is a twin-turboprop aircraft produced by Beechcraft which was introduced to service in 1964. As such it has widely been considered the gold standard of twin turboprop transport.
